Say it out loud. Then check yourself.

Active recall for the district exam — the blueprint, governance, finance, internal controls, personnel law, compliance, case law, the written-assignment rubric and the answer patterns. One card at a time, big type, the phrases to listen for, and a list of everything you missed at the end. Nothing is saved anywhere.

How to run this With a partner: hand over the laptop — or cast the screen — to whoever is quizzing. They pick the decks and hit start. You answer out loud; the host taps Show answer, compares what you said against the phrases listed, and marks it. It is keyboard-driven, so the host can run it without looking down: Space reveals, then got it, missed.

On your own: it works the same way — read the card, say the whole answer out loud before you press Space, then mark yourself honestly against the listed phrases. Saying it aloud matters: on this exam you have to produce this material under time pressure, not recognize it.

Judging

Under Listen for you'll see the key phrases. If they say the substance, mark it right — exact wording doesn't matter. If they get the idea but miss the number, that's a miss. Numbers are the whole point of half these decks.

Pacing

Don’t rush them, but don’t let them sit. Roughly ten seconds for a recall card. The Say-It-Out-Loud deck is different — give him 45 seconds to talk through a structured answer.

The good part

At the end you get every missed card with its answer, and a Run the missed cards button. That second pass is where the learning actually happens — do it before you close the laptop.
